Mrs Mary Alice Stephens talks about her father, John Boyes, who worked on the Wonga Shoals lighthouse. In 1912 the lighthouse was struck by the Dimsdale leading to the deaths of the lighthouse keepers Harry Franson and Charles McGowan. Mr Boyes had finished his shift on the lighthouse only two hours before the disaster. |
