Description : |
While living in Andamooka Opal Fields in the early 1950s, this family photo was taken, probably by government officials I'm not too sure, but I would like to know who took it. I am the little girl on the far right hand side standing with my hands above my head, my oldest brother Samuel , is next to me, my dad is sitting on the left hand side of the photo holding my brother Daryl, and my brother Malcolm is leaning on Dad's left leg. Sitting behind him is my uncle Sydney Waye, and standing behind him is my Mum Millie Taylor, my aunty Tilly Waye, aunty Emily Lennon and all the little blonde kids are my cousins of the Waye family, Dorothy, Sydney jnr, Douglas and Robert. |
