Description : |
Cook-house for shearers on Angorichina Station. This property is located in the Flinders Ranges, 9 kilometres east of Blinman. The run was taken up in the 1850s. In 1859 Robert Blinman, one of the station's shepherds, discovered copper on the property; the mining lease later became the Blinman mine. Today this working sheep station produces premium Australian wool and caters for tourists. |
